
Taiyo Taimi, Head of Asia, Unlisted Real Estate, Norges Bank Investment Management
Taiyo Taimi is Head of Asia in the unlisted real estate group at Norges Bank Investment Management (“NBIM”) primarily focusing on Japan and is responsible for real estate investment and asset management in the region.
Prior to joining NBIM, Taiyo worked for Aetos Capital (2008-2015) investing in various property types including office, residential, retail and NPL in Japan. Before that Taiyo worked at Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan as a real estate investment banker and non-recourse finance lender (2003-2008).
Taiyo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Waseda University.
