Speaker Bio: Jonathan Umali of Arch Capital MTD TV Productions

Jonathan Umali, Chief Investment Officer, ARCH Capital

Jonathan Umali, with almost 30 years of experience in investment and asset management in Asia, joined ARCH Capital in 2006. Serving on the firm’s Investment Committee, he has played a key role in expanding its investment footprint and establishing a strong local presence across the region, including in Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Greater China, covering diverse markets and strategies such as opportunistic, value-add, and core/core-plus investments.

Before joining ARCH Capital, Jonathan held senior positions at Ayala Land in the Philippines and completed international postings in Singapore and San Francisco. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University, an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management – Columbia Business School joint program, and attended post-graduate programs at the Harvard School of Design.
