
Chester Foo Ren Jie, Head of Investment, North Asia, Frasers Hospitality
Chester has 15 years of experience in real estate investments, corporate strategy, and business operations. His international experience spans key markets across Asia, Australia, Europe, and the US, encompassing direct and indirect investments in both GP and LP roles. Chester has executed and managed investment over US$6 billion, covering real estate and private equity in lodging, industrial, commercial, residential sectors, and consumer property technology.
As the Head of Investment for the Frasers Hospitality Business unit within Frasers Property Group, Chester oversees the implementation of investment strategies in the North Asia region. He had also led the formulation of Frasers Hospitality’s corporate strategy. During his tenure, he devised the business’ transformation and growth strategy, and created its first-ever proprietary integrated value chain system, enhancing business efficiency and maximizing value creation. He also spearheaded the organization’s growth strategy execution and successfully drove the expansion into new business segments such as premium rental apartments in China and Japan.
Chester holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also an Advisory Board Member of the International Hospitality Investment Forum Asia.
