International real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield continued to fortify its team last week with the announcement that Jesse Copjec had joined the company’s Shanghai office services team.
Copjec joins the New York-based firm as Associate Director, Tenant Strategies & Solutions, Shanghai and Head of Business Development, Shanghai after nearly four years with rival Colliers International.
The addition of the US-native Copjec is the latest senior hire for Cushman & Wakefield in China, which has been adding talent as competition among the international real estate brokerage firms intensifies locally.
In February the privately held firm brought on board a new director of retail tenant representation for China, and has also added a new chiefs for its research, human resources, and office tenant representation teams in the last several months. Last week Eastern China Managing Director Jonathan Davis was promoted to run operations nationwide after originally joining the company last November.
Copjec brings twelve years of experience brokering commercial real estate deals to the Cushman team, having worked for Colliers ABR in New York before coming to China.
