China Real Estate People in the News 2015-02-02

This week Greater China’s community of real estate professionals sees a pair of promotions in the world of property investment, as well as a Hong Kong broker heading home to England. And much more. Read on for details.

qiuting panQiuting Pan has been promoted to Vice President with asset management giant BlackRock in Singapore. In her new role, Pan will continue to have responsibility for analysing real estate securities in the Asia Pacific region for the New York-based firm. Pan came to BlackRock through its acquisition of MGPA in 2013, and the National University of Singapore graduate also has previous experience at CapitaMalls and CapitaLand.

tom bollandTom Bolland has returned to England where he has taken on the role of Senior Director with BNP Paribas Real Estate, based in London. Bolland formerly served with Colliers International in Hong Kong for more than five years as part of the tenant representation team in the property agency’s office leasing department. The University of the West of England graduate had previous experience with BNP Paribas in the UK before relocating to Hong Kong.

wesley chanWesley Chan has been promoted to the role of Associate with Sniper Capital in Hong Kong. Chan’s move up comes after nearly two and a half years with the private equity real estate investment firm, which he joined as an analyst in 2012. The University of Hong Kong graduate also has experience with real estate consultancy Savills, and is a chartered financial analyst as well as candidate for membership in the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

lukas wangLukas Wang has joined CBRE in Shanghai as a Transaction Manager with the company’s Global Corporate Services team. The Chinese University of Hong Kong graduate comes to CBRE from rival JLL where he had previously spent more than three years with the property consultancy after joining as an intern in 2011 and working his way up to become an Assistant Manager in the company’s Regional Transaction Management department.

xu fuFu Xu has joined Colliers International in Chengdu as an Assistant Manager with the Industrial Consultancy team. Xu comes to the property service provider from UK-based competitor Savills, where he had served for more than two years with the company’s research and development consultancy division. Xu has a degree in law from Chengdu’s Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.
