This week China’s real estate community sees a leading player leave to become a holiday home provider, plus some new sales management at Sotheby’s and promotions at JLL, CBRE and C&W. Read on for more details.
Randall Hall is now Principal at luxury holiday home provider Zekkei Collection. Until earlier this month, Randall had served as Executive Managing Director for Greater China at international real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield, based in Hong Kong. With Hall’s departure, Jonathan Davis, who was recently promoted to Managing Director for China, is now the company’s top-ranked executive for operations on the mainland.
Joe Wang has joined Sotheby’s International Realty in Beijing as a sales manager with the international marketer of luxury homes. Sotheby’s announced in February that it would be opening its first China office in Beijing, as demand grows among wealthy Chinese for overseas homes. Joe previously served as a sales manager with ERA Realty in Beijing for nearly five years.
William Kwok has been promoted to Senior Operations Manager for Facilities Management at Cushman & Wakefield in Hong Kong. William, who is a graduate of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, stepped up to his new role after more than two years with the privately held real estate services firm in Hong Kong, after joining from rival JLL.
Lindsay Liu has been promoted to Associate Director for Business Development at CBRE in Shenzhen where she is the international real estate services firm’s leader of business development and client relationship management in southern China. This is the second year in a row that Lindsay has been promoted to a higher rank at CBRE.
Matt Du has been promoted to Facilities Manager at JLL in Beijing. The promotion for Matt come after he served less than two years as a Senior Facilities Engineer with the real estate services firm. Matt’s new role includes planning, design, scheduling, tendering, and implementation of facility management projects.
