This week China’s community of real estate professionals witnesses fresh hires on the retail team at JLL (who by the way officially changed their name from Jones Lang LaSalle) in Shanghai, a new addition to the valuations team at DTZ in Beijing, and more.
Violet Juhyoun Lee has joined JLL as a Senior Manager with the retail leasing team in Shanghai as of last month. Prior to joining JLL, Lee who is a graduate of Korea’s Sogang University, and also attended Beijing Language and Culture University, was with the retail team at JLL competitor Cushman & Wakefield in Shanghai for four years, most recently serving as a Senior Manager.
Tommy Kang this month joined DTZ in Beijing as an Assistant Manager with the Valuation and Advisory Services team for the global real estate consultancy. Before taking on his new role at DTZ, Kang, who has a Master’s degree in Land Use Planning and Management/Development from Sichuan University had been a Senior Valuer with rival CBRE in Beijing for more than two years.
Gino Zhang was promoted this month to the rank of HR officer with JLL (formerly known as Jones Lang LaSalle) in Chengdu. Before achieving this latest promotion, Zhang had been an HR Specialist with the global real estate consultancy for nearly two years. Prior to joining JLL, Zhang had served briefly with Swedish home furnishings supplier IKEA.
Helen Chen is now Retail Leasing Assistant Manager at Chyao Fu Development‘s Parkview Green Mall in Beijing. Chen was promoted to her new role at the project recently after having served as Senior Coordinator for retail leasing and operation with the company for one year and eight months. Prior to joining Chyao Fu, Chen had been with the Sofitel Hotel in Chengdu, Sichuan.
