Roman Nemtsov has joined Gaw Capital Partners USA as Senior Vice President for Investments, and will be based in the Hong Kong private equity firm’s soon-to-be opened Chicago office. Nemtsov will be responsible for U.S. investments for the firm, focusing on overseeing Gaw Capital’s recently established hospitality venture and development of new joint ventures in the U.S.
Aymeric Fraise is now Managing Director, China at Related Regional Centers – EB-5. US-based developer Related, which is owned by billionaire Steven Ross, maintains an office in Shanghai and has taken on initiatives in the area of senior housing and residential development. With the elevation of Fraise, who was previously the company’s Development Director in Shanghai, to this new role, market observers speculate that the firm is looking for ways to work with wealthy Chinese individuals looking to immigrate to the US under the EB-5 investor visa program.
Jiamin Chen has been promoted to the role of Transaction Manager, Capital Deployment with logistics developer Prologis in Shanghai. Before taking on her new role, Chen was a Transaction Analyst with Prologis, and earlier had served as a Senior Analyst for Investment Sales with Colliers International in Shanghai.
James Toh is now Assistant Manager at DTZ in Shanghai, where he now performs agency work on behalf landlords and tenants from multinational corporations. Before starting his new role in China this month, Toh had been a Senior Real Estate Administrator with DTZ in Singapore.
Yves Gao has been promoted to Deputy Section Chief for Science &Technology Services with Tianjin Free Trade Zone Government/Tianjin Airport Economic Area Administrative Committee in Shanghai. Prior to taking on his new responsibilities, Gao was an investment consultant with the Committee’s Shanghai office for more than two years.
