China Real Estate People in the News 2014-02-17

Each week on Mingtiandi we track who among China’s commercial real estate community has left their role, been promoted, or finally polished the apple to such a high gloss that they get to do more work and maybe get a pay bump later.

FranklandWilliam Frankland has been promoted to Associate Director in the Office Services department at Colliers International in Shanghai. Frankland has been with the Tenant Representation division of Colliers’ office team since 2010, and until assuming his new responsibilities during January had served as a Senior Manager in the department.

GougartySara Gougarty is now Director of Retail Tenant Representation for China at Cushman & Wakefield Shanghai. Gougarty will be responsible for assisting retailers with planning China market strategies, selecting locations, and negotiating leases. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Gougarty was part of the retail tenant representation team at Savills in Shanghai.

ShenTina Shen has been promoted to Senior Analyst with the International Advisory department at Colliers International in Shanghai. Shen has been providing due diligence reports, market analysis and development consultancy at Colliers since 2011, and until her promotion had been an Analyst with the firm.

Chen LeiChen Lei reports that he is now Majordomo of the Land Development Department at HongKong HengFeng Bank in Chengdu. Chen is part of the bank’s real estate development department where he is responsible for conducting market research and conducting feasibility studies. Prior to joing Hengfeng Bank, Chen served with the office leasing team with Jones Lang LaSalle in Chengdu.

Coco ChenCoco (Fangming) Chen is now Analyst and Marketing Assistant with Colliers International in Shanghai. Chen took on her new responsibilities as of January this year, after joining Colliers in March of last year as a Marketing Assistant. Before joining Colliers, Chen was a marketing assistant with event company the FC Group in Beijing.
