Each week on Mingtiandi we track who among China’s commercial real estate community has left their role, been promoted, or simply taken the fall for failing to captain a company that was still being run by the chairman anyway.
Andy Zhang has joined developer Shui On Land as General Manager, Ruihongxincheng, & Head of Office Leasing, CXTD. Zhang joins the developer amid a top-level leadership change, after the Shanghai-based firm was forced to sell off properties in Chongqing and Shanghai, and sell shares to investor Brookfield. Prior to joining Shui On, Zhang served as Managing Director – China at Cushman & Wakefield.
Pauline Oh is now Senior Vice President for Urban Land Institute Asia Pacific, and will be the real estate industry group’s first full-time executive in Singapore. Oh is charged with engaging existing and potential new members across the region and helping shape the Institute’s plans for the future. Before joining the ULI, Oh served as General Manager for event organiser Terrapinn.
Ben Min has joined Ping An Trust as Investment Manager in Shanghai. Ping An has become increasingly active in the real estate sector, as China’s insurers invest in more property assets. Prior to joining Ping An, Ben served as a Portfolio Analyst with Australian developer Goodman, and Senior Manager in the Investment Department at Colliers International.
Michael Tan has joined Colliers International in Beijing as a Senior Analyst with the real estate consultancy. Prior to taking on this role at Colliers, Tan served as consultant with Cushman & Wakefield in their Shanghai office, and interned as a sales assistant with Standard Chartered Bank.
