
Teri Tsang becomes a director after 11 years at Benoy
Global design firm Benoy has promoted Teri Tsang, an eleven-year veteran of their team, to Director in their Hong Kong studio. The new role comes after Tsang led design teams for some of the company’s biggest projects in Hong Kong, India and China.
“Teri has been a valuable member of our team for over a decade and we are pleased to now celebrate her appointment to Director in Hong Kong,” Trevor Vivian, Global Director and Hong Kong Studio Head at Benoy said in a statement. “Teri has extensive experience across international markets and has helped to design and deliver an impressive portfolio within Benoy.”
A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in the US, Tsang kicked off her career in the US before moving to Hong Kong and joining Benoy in 2007. She served as a Senior Associate Director in the company’s Hong Kong studio for two months before taking this latest step up. Among the projects in Tsang’s portfolio are New World China Land’s 800,000 square metre Ningbo New World Plaza,, which includes a K11 Mall, iconic 250m mixed-use tower, two office towers and four residential towers with retail elements.
Tsang, who also has experience with Ronald Lu & Partners and Gravity Partnership in Hong Kong, has also played a role in China Everbright’s Pazhou Tower in Guangzhou and Phoenix Mills’ Phoenix Marketcity in Chennai.
