Savills has named Annie Woo as its regional director and head of integrated real estate advisory services for Asia, based in Singapore.
IREAS is a new Savills service line dedicated to a wide spectrum of urban development and optimisation advisory in Asia and global markets, the property consultancy said in a release.
Reporting directly to Martin Fidden, regional managing director and head of professional services, Woo joins Savills from the Cistri consultancy, where she served as Singapore director for three years. Coming aboard at the same time are Liow Yurong as associate director and Juan Wen Yu as senior manager, who will oversee feasibility and market analysis for large-scale consulting projects, as well as real estate master planning and public policy advisory.
“Dr Woo and her team are in the very top tier of consultants operating in the Asia Pacific market,” Fidden said. “Their insight, connections and experience will undoubtedly produce world-class results for our clients. These key appointments further demonstrate our ongoing commitment to playing a pivotal role in shaping the built environment throughout our region.”
CBRE Veteran
Before joining Cistri in late 2019, Woo headed the consulting division at CBRE Singapore. In her more than 25 years in real estate, she has executed numerous projects including the Jurong Innovation District and Jewel Changi Airport, Savills said.

Woo will oversee IREAS and be responsible for real estate advisory in Asia and key global markets, having provided consultancy services across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas.
Woo’s latest project is providing strategic development and delivery advisory for a major global processing and distribution hub in Southeast Asia.
“We are currently in advance discussions for a few landmark economic corridors and development projects,” Woo said. “Together with IREAS, the greater Savills community and strategic partners can provide project management support to our clients and implement a practical and holistic approach to problem solving.”
Wide-Ranging Segment
IREAS will provide a variety of advisory services across the entire real estate portfolio, including property economics, portfolio strategy, placemaking, development positioning and feasibility studies, among others.
The new service line will primarily focus on regional markets and work closely on Singapore projects with Alan Cheong, executive director and head of research and consultancy for Singapore. Cheong will continue reporting to Singapore CEO Marcus Loo.
“Having advised government agencies, both private and institutional investment funds, and real estate developers across all property sectors, there will undoubtedly be a multitude of cross-selling opportunities between IREAS and the wider Savills business,” Loo said.
