The MIPIM Asia real estate conference will be held in Hong Kong on November 27th and 28th with Mingtiandi representatives leading three sessions at the two-day industry conference.
The event kicks off Tuesday morning with Mingtiandi’s Michael Cole leading the initial panel on Key Investment Trends in Asia Pacific directly following the opening ceremony.
Joining Michael on the stage will be Richard Yue, CEO and CIO of Arch Capital Management; Suchad Chiaranussati, chairman and managing director of SC Capital Partners; Terence Tang, head of capital markets and investment services for Asia at Colliers International and Andrew Haskins, Colliers’ head of research for Asia.
The event, which features separate channels of sessions focused on technology, investment and retail has a roster of more than 90 speakers over 30 conference sessions, with Mingtiandi among the event’s media sponsors.
Mingtiandi to Lead Session with Allianz, Gaw, Link REIT and KPMG
Among the biggest industry names appearing at the event will be joining Mingtiandi’s Michael Cole for the opening session on Wednesday, titled Meet the Chairmen.
In this 90 minute session, Michael will be moderating a panel discussion among Allianz Real Estate Global CEO Francois Trausch, Allianz Gaw Capital Partners President and Managing Principal Kenneth Gaw, Link Asset Management Limited CEO George Hongchoy, KPMG Global Chair of Real Estate and Construction Andrew Weir and Nigel Satterley, founder and CEO of Perth-based developer Satterley Property Group.
900 Participants Predicted for Event
Organisers expect around 900 participants from across the region and around the world to attend with McKinsey partner Jonathan Woetzel and Hang Lung Properties chairman Ronnie Chan also giving addresses.
Mingtiandi’s final session at the conference will be a roundtable luncheon that the company is hosting on co-working in Southeast Asia at 12:45 on Wednesday.
The event, which expects to welcome representatives from LaSalle Asset Management, Ivanhoe Cambridge and CITIC Capital among its attendees, wraps up on Wednesday with an awards dinner.
