KKR, Lazard Join Speakers for Mingtiandi Singapore Event on 18 October

Speakers from KKR and Lazard have joined the list of top names appearing at the Mingtiandi Singapore Focus Forum on 18 October, completing the on-stage roster for the biggest event this year dedicated to institutional investment in Southeast Asia’s wealthiest city.

New to the conversation is Jeremy Chee, a principal with the real estate team at KKR in Singapore who will be joining a panel on value-add and opportunistic strategies in the city-state alongside Adrian Lee of AEW and Jeremy Lake.

From Lazard, Joyce Lo, a director with the private capital advisory at the French financial institution, will be moderating a panel on Singapore’s industrial sector which features Andrew Lee of BlackRock, Kian Fong Lim of Hines and Adrian Chui of ESR-Logos REIT.

Nearly 200 industry professionals have now booked tickets for the full-day event at the ParkRoyal Collection at Marina Bay hotel, with Mingtiandi expecting a sell-out crowd of 250 with two weeks yet to go before the forum.

Warburg Pincus, Blackstone, Oxford Properties on Stage

28 speakers have now confirmed their appearance at the forum, including representatives from major pension fund managers and insurers such as Ivanhoe Cambridge, Oxford Properties and Allianz Real Estate.

Leading the speaker roster is a keynote interview with Warburg Pincus head of Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific Real Estate Jeffrey Perlman, with Raymond Poh, CEO of ESR-backed fractional investment platform SDAX also on stage for a spotlight interview appearance.

The programme explores top sectors of interest to investors with dedicated sessions on the office market, Singapore REITs, and Australian investments, in addition to the industrial panel.

Opening the day will be a keynote panel with Ivanhoe Cambridge co-head of Asia Pacific, George Agethen; Oxford Properties head of investments for Asia Pacific, Alessandro Fiascaris; Allianz Real Estate head of acquisitions and head of China, Danny Phuan and JLL Southeast Asia chief Chris Fossick.

Also speaking will be top executives of JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Blackstone, TE Capital Partners, Manulife US REIT, Lendlease Global Commercial REIT and MSCI.

Attendees from HSBC, Temasek, Schroders

With the debut of Mingtiandi’s first-ever Singapore event now just a fortnight away representatives of the some of the region’s largest real estate investors and developers have already secured their attendance for the forum.

In addition to the speaker roster, attending the event will be representatives of Singapore institutions including GIC and Temasek Holdings, with global banks and investment managers, including HSBC and Schroders sending representatives.
