Three more speakers this week joined the roster of industry leaders speaking at the Mingtiandi Singapore Forum with top executives from BlackRock, TE Capital Partners and Sun Venture helping to push the event on 14 November to 20 speakers and counting.
Emilia Teo, a managing director at TE Capital, which is developing Singapore’s most successful office project of 2023 together with LaSalle Investment Management, will be joining a panel on commercial opportunities in Singapore, alongside BlackRock head of Singapore and Southeast Asia investment Andrew Lee and Gaw Capital managing director Imelda Tham.
In a session on Singapore outbound investment, Jeun Jye Ong, head of real estate with Singapore private investment manager Sun Venture will be speaking alongside Kian Jin Khoo, head of private wealth with JLL and additional industry leaders to be named in the coming days.
Pension Fund Managers in the Lead
After more than 200 senior real estate executives joined Mingtiandi’s inaugural Singapore forum last year, over 150 tickets have already been booked for this year’s event at the Conrad Centennial hotel, with more than 220 attendees expected.
Leading off the day-long agenda will be a keynote panel with Sangwook Kang, a senior director with the real estate group at KIC Singapore, now joining George Agethen, co-head of Asia Pacific at Ivanhoe Cambridge and Alessandro Fiascaris, head of Asia Pacific at Oxford Properties, as well as Jeremy Lake, a managing director who heads investment sales and capital markets at Savills in Singapore, in a meeting of some of the region’s investment heavyweights.
Next up on the agenda is an exclusive interview focused on building New Economy-powered property platforms in Southeast Asia.
In that spotlight session, Mingtiandi founder Michael Cole will sit down for a conversation with Fan Li, a managing director for Singapore at Warburg Pincus, who will appear together with Fion Ng, chief operating officer for Vietnam’s BW Industrial and Kevin Kow, group CEO and president director with Indonesia’s NWP Property.
Lodging Investment, Private Credit on the Agenda
On the afternoon agenda for what is set to become the largest event on Southeast Asia real estate investment this year, is an industrial panel with experts from ESR, JLL and Baker McKenzie, as well as a session on lodging investment, which will look at strategies for hotels, multi-family and student housing with senior leaders from SC Capital Partners and APG.
With debt plays moving to the forefront of real estate investment markets globally, the day’s program will close with a panel on private credit strategies with Rai Katimansah, a managing director at SC Capital and Foster Lee, senior director for credit investment at Gaw Capital.
