The third and final session in Mingtiandi’s data centre forum is set to air at 10:00 am Hong Kong time on Tuesday, with some of the APAC region’s top data centre experts joining the show.

The program brings together C-level executives from Asian data centre operators BDx and Princeton Digital Group, along with a Baker McKenzie attorney and Cisco Systems chief architect for data centre networks for a one-hour discussion of the challenges of scaling data server facility networks in the region.

Tuesday’s show follows last week’s investor-focused session featuring Blackstone, Actis, Baker McKenzie and Colliers International, which attracted more than 500 viewers.

The session, which is sponsored by property software and intelligence provider Yardi Systems, explores topics such as the opportunity to develop sustainable data centres, dealing with the demands of fast-growing hyperscale clients and the outlook for growth in the sector as 5G networks expand.

The panelists include Cisco Data Centre Networks’ chief architect for cloud Christopher Liljenstolpe, Baker McKenzie special advisor for data centres Christopher Yee, BDx Data Centres CEO Braham Singh and Princeton Digital Group co-founder and chief operating officer Varoon Raghavan.

Following the live panel discussion, viewers will have the opportunity to submit questions to the panelists in a session moderated by Mingtiandi founder Michael Cole.

Proptech Forum, 2021 Events to Follow

With the data centre forum set to wrap up on Tuesday, MTD TV will be back later this month with a series of events on proptech, featuring speakers from Yardi and other top tech companies in the property industry.

The proptech series will lead with the release of the results of the Mingtiand proptech survey on 25 November, to be followed by panel sessions on 2 December and 9 December.

MTD TV will be back in 2021 with a set of seven forums, beginning with our commercial redevelopment series in March of next year. For Mingtiandi’s full 2021 event calendar, click here.
