Mingtiandi APAC Logistics Series Kicks Off on Tuesday MTD TV Productions

Starting next week Mingtiandi brings you in-depth insights on the logistics industry in Asia Pacific through a series of online conversations with top investors in the sector including Warburg Pincus, Allianz Real Estate, ESR, LaSalle Investment Management and more.

In our first session on 7 July, Mingtiandi founder Michael Cole will interview Warburg Pincus managing director and head of Southeast Asia Jeffrey Perlman on the resiliency of the region’s warehouse investment market among the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the spotlight interview, which is followed by a live question and answer session, Perlman will explain how in his role as chairman of Hong Kong-listed developer and fund manager ESR he has seen demand rise as e-commerce penetration has risen this year, and share his outlook for what to expect in the coming months.

Panel Sessions on Core Strategies and Emerging Markets

Beyond that opening keynote address, the series, which is being produced and broadcast on Mingtiandi’s ground-breaking MTD TV interactive video platform, will continue on 14 July with a panel discussion on the outlook for logistics investments in Asia Pacific’s core markets this year.

In that 45-minute session, ESR co-CEO Stuart Gibson, will join with Allianz Real Estate’s head of APAC asset management Chiang Wei Ng, LaSalle Investment Management head of Greater China, Claire Tang and JLL’s APAC capital markets divisions CEO Stuart Crow to share insights on their experience in managing deals amidst the challenges and opportunities of 2020.

For the final session on 28 July, Mingtiandi’s panel of experts will focus on opportunities in Asia Pacific’s fastest developing regions in a panel dedicated to emerging markets. In that session, CK Tong, CEO of Warburg Pincus-backed Vietnam logistics platform BW Industrial, will join in a conversation with Baker McKenzie partner Frederick Burke, JLL head of industrial for Southeast Asia, Stuart Ross and Peter Garrison, head of strategic customers for Logos Property, in comparing their experiences establishing ventures in some of the region’s most dynamic locations.
