More Than 200 Real Estate Executives Set to Join Mingtiandi’s Singapore Forum on 10 Sept

Senior executives from APG Asset Management, CapitaLand Investment, Mastern Investment Management and more are set to join the Mingtiandi Singapore Forum on 10 September, according to the latest registrations.

With the event, which is sponsored by Yardi, just one week away, over 200 industry leaders have registered for the forum at the Pan Pacific Orchard Hotel, with representatives of some of the world’s largest pension fund managers, sovereign wealth funds, investment managers and other financial institutions set to attend.

The attendees have signed up to witness a day of panel discussions covering investment in hospitality, rental residential, industrial, commercial and capital markets, as well as spotlight interviews with top leaders from Bain Capital and Brookfield Asset Management. Tickets to the event are still available at the link above.

For industry members unable to make the trip to Singapore, portions of the programme will streamed live, with recordings of all sessions to be available on Mingtiandi.com within by the end of Thursday, 12 September. Interviews with Brookfield, Bain Capital

The highlights of the program include a keynote panel which features senior leaders from two of the world’s largest pension fund managers, Alessandro Fiascaris, head of Asia Pacific for Oxford Properties and Laurent Fischler, head of investments for Asia Pacific at Ivanhoé Cambridge.

The two pension fund executives will be appearing alongside Jeremy Lake, managing director for investment sales and capital markets, who leads the investment team at Savills in Singapore ‘and Dr Lee Nai Jia, head of real estate intelligence for data and software solutions at PropertyGuru Group.

Also among the major draws is a spotlight interview with Andrew Burych, managing partner and head of East Asia real estate with Brookfield Asset Management, who will be providing insights into strategies favoured by the world’s second-largest real estate fund manager.

In a second spotlight interview, Mingtiandi founder Michael Cole will speak with Bain Capital executives Michael Hui, a partner who heads special situations and real estate for China with the investment firm, and Man Kinoshita, a partner from Bain’s Japan special situations team, about how current shifts in regional markets are creating capital gaps and opportunities for investors.
