
Hayato Tsuji, General Manager, Real Estate Finance Department, Development Bank of Japan
Hayato Tsuji serves as the general manager at the Real Estate Finance Department of Development Bank of Japan Inc. His responsibilities include property investment, fund investment, non-recourse financing, sustainability activities, and prop tech initiatives. He has over 20 years of experience in real estate finance and asset management. From 2013 to 2016, he was seconded to DBJ Asset Management, serving as the managing director. In this role, he led the establishment of DBJ Private REIT, which now has JPY 180 billion (USD 1.2 billion) in AUM.
Mr. Tsuji holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law from Kyoto University, as well as a Master of Science degree in Finance from London Business School.
