Don Taylor, Director, Office, Swire Properties
Don Taylor is Director and Global Head of Swire Properties’ Office Portfolio comprising 13.6 million s.f. of completed office buildings and projects under development in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. Based in Hong Kong, he manages the 300-strong office team responsible for the leasing and management as well as the design and development of the company’s office properties. Among these includes the Taikoo Place Redevelopment Project, a HK$16 Billion project which will be completed this year and represents the company’s single largest office development as well as the expansion of the Pacific Place portfolio.
In the Chinese Mainland, Mr Taylor oversees the leasing and management of Swire Properties’ flagship developments including Taikoo Hui in Guangzhou, HKRI Centre One and Two in Shanghai, and One INDIGO in Beijing. He is in charge of the design and development for the Grade-A office towers of the New Bund and Yangjing projects in Shanghai, as well as INDIGO Phase II in Beijing, a 4 million s.f. office-lead mixed-use development.
Mr Taylor also oversees Swire Properties Inc. USA and the execution of our strategy in Miami. A Chartered Surveyor, he is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS).
