Charlie Kuntz, Innovation Officer, Hines

Charlie Kuntz serves as the firm’s Innovation Officer and is responsible for tracking and examining the viability of the most innovative building design, building technology, and real estate technology overall in the industry and implementing the newest ideas and thinking on every Hines engagement. Since joining Hines in 2007, Kuntz has contributed to the development, acquisition, asset management, financing, marketing and disposition of more than eight million square feet of commercial real estate, most recently including Salesforce Tower and 33 Tehama in San Francisco.

Kuntz earned his BA in English from Georgetown University and his MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Hines

Hines is a privately owned global real estate investment firm founded in 1957 with a presence in 225 cities in 25 countries. Hines has approximately $144.1 billion of assets under management, including $75.5 billion for which Hines serves as investment manager, including non-real estate assets, and $68.6 billion for which Hines provides third-party property-level services.
