
Megan Walters takes over as head of research for APAC at JLL
Dr Megan Walters has been promoted to lead JLL’s research efforts across Asia Pacific. Walters, who is based in Singapore will take over from Dr Jane Murray in the property consultancy’s top research role in the region on October 1st where she will oversee JLL’s publications, research papers and other content in the region. She will continue to be based in Singapore.
“I am looking forward to the opportunity to find new and innovative ways to continue to meet our clients’ needs in this increasingly data-driven and technology-enabled world,” Walters said.
Walters has been with JLL since 2010 when she joined as the firm’s head of research for the Capital Markets team in Asia Pacific. In this role, Dr. Walters was responsible for advising JLL’s investor clients as well as supervising the publication of the company’s research products.
Murray joined JLL in 1998 before being named as head of research in Australia in 2000, and took on her current position as head of research Asia Pacific in 2005. She is leaving the firm to pursue new opportunities.
This is the second major appointment for JLL’s APAC management team this year. Anthony Couse replaced Alastair Hughes as the company’s Asia Pacific CEO in July, after serving as JLL’s Managing Director of Shanghai and East China.
