Real estate service provider DTZ this week announced that it has hired Stuart Roberts as its new Chief Executive for Asia Pacific, as well as bringing on board CBRE veteran Sam Cuccurullo to lead its property and asset management team in APAC.
Roberts comes to DTZ from FigTree Capital, but previously served as JLL’s Asia Pacific Chief Operating Officer for a decade. In his new role at DTZ, Roberts is tasked with implementing a strategic plan to grow DTZ’s commercial real estate services business throughout the region.
Cuccurullo takes on his new position as Head of Property & Asset Management, Asia Pacific at DTZ after serving for more than 19 years with CBRE, most recently as Executive Managing Director, Asset Services, Asia Pacific with the real estate agency.
Also this week, DTZ announced that it has hired James Patterson, also from CBRE, to become its Chief Executive for Australia and New Zealand.
Commenting on the company’s new leadership in Asia, Tod Lickerman, DTZ Global Chief Executive Officer said, “We are excited to welcome Stuart, James and Sam to DTZ to lead and grow our business in the Asia Pacific region.”
The trio of senior level hires comes just three months after a private equity group, led by US firm TPG took DTZ private, after acquiring the real estate agency from Australian engineering firm UGL.
