It’s a whole new year and Asia’s real estate professionals are ready for 2017, with new roles in familiar places. This week a corporate real estate professional leads the pack by taking over a top level role in Shanghai, while a number of agency veterans move up the ladder in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam. Read on for all the details.
Dohyung Kim has been promoted to head of Asia Pacific Asset Management for Siemens Real Estate, based in Shanghai. Kim takes a step up at the corporate real estate division of the German manufacturing conglomerate after serving as a portfolio manager with Siemens in Shanghai since July 2014. Kim has now been with the Munich-based company for more than four years, and also has previous experience with Deloitte Consulting and AT Kearney.
Joanne Lee is now Associate Director for Valuation and Advisory Services with Colliers International in Hong Kong. The job switch is an internal move for Lee, who previously had served as Associate Director for Research and Advisory for the property consultancy. Lee has now been with Colliers in Hong Kong for nine years, and also has previous experience in research and consultancy with competitor JLL.
Stan Alexandrov has now joined DTZ/Cushman & Wakefield in Shanghai as a Regional Account Manager. Alexandrov takes on his new role with the real estate agency after spending more than two years with serviced residence provider The Ascott. An MBA graduate of the University of Greenwich in the UK, Alexandrov is making a return appearance at DTZ/C&W after having served as a manager with the legacy Cushman & Wakefield team in Shanghai from 2006 to 2010.
Adam Fitzpatrick has been promoted to Director of Capital Markets and Investment with Colliers International in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Fitzpatrick’s step up in sunny Saigon’s world of investment deals comes just seven months after joining Colliers Capital Markets team there as an Associate Director. The University of Nottingham graduate also has previous experience with Cavendish Maxwell in the UAE, and also had worked for Colliers in the UK.
Davide Fugazza has been promoted to Director of Greater China and North Asia for workspace provider Haworth, based in Shanghai. Fugazza makes his move up at the high end maker of office furniture after serving for just over a year as Director of Business Development and General Sales Manager in the city. The architecture graduate of Politecnico di Milano in Italy also worked with Haworth in Australia before relocating to China, and has previous experience with Ferrari in China.
