Over 300 real estate professionals are set to meet in Shanghai on December 9th and 10th to spend two days exploring innovation in China’s property industry, featuring a technology in real estate forum.
The gathering for the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) winter meeting will include presentations by some of the most successful developers and investors in mainland markets including representatives of Chongbang Group, Walt Disney Imagineering, Swire Properties, and China Vanke.
The two-day program will be cover innovation across a broad range of real estate sectors and disciplines highlighted by a half-day forum on the morning of December 10th covering the changing role of technology in the property industry.
The first day of the two-day event will involve discussions by a number of ULI groups covering specific industry disciplines and sectors, covering mixed-use projects, hotels and tourism, business parks, housing and investment.
On December 10th, the main forum will include an opening address by Jeongmin Seoung of McKinsey, followed by a presentation on 3D printing in construction by the CEO of Shanghai-based WinSun.
The afternoon session will kick-off with a keynote address by Ben Schwegler, Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist, Walt Disney Imagineering R&D, followed by a presentation by Yan Se, Senior Economist for China with Standard Chartered Bank.
