Asia’s biggest real estate industry trade show takes place in Hong Kong on December 2nd and 3rd as more than 800 industry professionals gather for MIPIM Asia 2014. In recognition of the growing importance of Chinese investors and investment opportunities within the region and across the globe, Mingtiandi’s Michael Cole has been invited to lead two of the sessions at the event.
Keynoting this year’s session for the annual gathering will be speeches by Dr. Amlan Roy, Head of Global Demographics and Pensions for Credit Suisse Securities in Europe, and by Mr. Ronnie Chan, Chairman of Hang Lung Properties Limited. The organisers expect more than 800 attendees at the industry gathering.
Key Sessions on China Outbound and Logistics Real Estate
With Chinese corporates, individuals and funds playing an ever larger role in global real estate investment, Michael Cole will be leading a panel discussion on the afternoon of the first day exploring the potential for Chinese investors in European and US markets.
In addition to the Chinese outbound investment discussion, Cole will also be conducting a roundtable discussion on the second day of the event looking into the potential China’s booming logistics real estate market.
In addition to a full two-day program of speeches, panel discussions and roundtables, the event includes a prestigious awards ceremony on the night of December 2nd.
Among the attendees, Reed Midem, which is organising MIPIM Asia, estimates that 33 percent are property investors, 20 percent are retailers, and 15 percent are developers with the remaining participants coming from service providers and other sectors.
