With China having reopened for more than a full quarter, owners and operators of logistics space across mainland China and Hong Kong are reporting growing demand for warehouse space, while specialised sectors like cold chain and last mile continue to grow in importance.
To gauge what to expect from Asia’s largest warehouse market, Mingtiandi is hosting top executives from Blackstone, SF REIT, ESR and Baker McKenzie for a live discussions, sponsored by Yardi.
With 40 logistics parks across 18 cities in China, Blackstone’s DragonCor recently announced plans to add 280,000 square metres of shed space in the Greater Bay Area while ESR in December completed the Wenzhou Ruin Logistics Park, a three-story facility in the province of Zhejiang.
Earlier last year, SF REIT, which stands as the only logistics-focused property trust on the Hong Kong exchange, acquired a complex in Hunan, enlarging the total value of the trust’s portfolio by 10.3 percent.
