Mingtiandi concluded its APAC logistics series one week ago, with the inaugural MTD TV video series pulling in more than 5,700 viewers between the live and recorded versions.
The three-part series on logistics real estate investment, which led off with a spotlight interview with Warburg Pincus head of Southeast Asia, Jeffrey Perlman on 7 July, attracted attendees from some of the largest investors globally, including BlackRock, Brookfield as well as Credit Suisse, Gaw Capital and Morgan Stanley.
Some 39 percent of the registered viewers for the sessions, including the pair of panel discussions on 14 and 28 July, came from institutional real estate investors, with another 9 percent employed at banks, including HSBC, UBS and Morgan Stanley. Across the series, 62 percent of the audience identified themselves as holding director-level positions or above, with 16 percent ranking as C-suite executives, presidents or vice-presidents.
Pension Fund Managers, Developers Tune In
Additional real estate finance professionals attending came from some of the world’s largest insurers and pension fund managers, including CPPIB, TRS Texas, Ping An Insurance and Allianz.
Another 16 percent of the audience watching Mingtiandi’s panelists from ESR, Logos, LaSalle Investment Management, JLL and other industry leaders discuss investment opportunities came from real estate developers, including CapitaLand, China Resources Land, Hines, Mapletree and Sun Hung Kai Properties.
