Asia’s data centre market has been expanding to hyperscale this year, and next week Mingtiandi will begin bringing you a series of online conversations with top operators and investors in the sector, including Blackstone, Warburg Pincus, Cisco Systems and Singapore’s Princeton Digital Group.
Our first session on Mingtiandi’s MTD TV video network is happening at 10:00 am Hong Kong time on Tuesday, 13 October and features a spotlight interview with Warburg Pincus managing director and head of real estate for China, Ellen Ng, appearing together with Princeton Digital Group chairman and CEO Rangu Salgame.
The two top executives will be discussing how the US private equity giant has worked with the startup to build a platform of 18 data centres across the region.
Mingtiandi readers will be able to join the conversation free of charge by registering here.
Fund Manager Session on 27 October
The second session in the data centre series follows on Tuesday, 27 October, and focuses on ways real estate investment funds can navigate the complexity of the data centre market to make successful investments in one of the fastest segments of the property universe.
Joining that panel discussion will be Blackstone managing director Michael Shang, Thomas Liu of UK fund manager Actis and a partner from global law firm Baker McKenzie.
Developer and Operator Session on 3 November
The third instalment of the series will take place on Tuesday, 3 November, and explores what corporate users and Internet giants are looking for in data centres, and how developers and operators can meet those requirements in a market that requires both technical expertise and policy experience.
That early November session will be moderated by Mingtiandi chief analyst Michael Cole, who will welcome Cisco Data Center Networks chief architect for cloud, Christopher Liljenstolpe along with a partner from Baker McKenzie and additional speakers to be confirmed in the coming days.
Watch for Proptech in December
All three sessions will be available free to Mingtiandi members, with readers able to now secure a Mingtiandi membership free of charge by registering here.
All three sessions will provide attendees with the opportunity to join the discussion through the live chat interface on Mingtiandi’s MTD TV platform and to join Q&A sessions after the presentations.
We look forward to having you join us, and stay tuned for our MTD proptech sessions in November and December, followed by a full calendar of online events next year.
