A Few Mingtiandi Upgrades This Week

While everyone else has been frolicking this holiday season, Ming has been hard at work making a few enhancements to Mingtiandi, so that I can bring you more real estate news, and better information.

Last week, I stopped publishing the daily digest posts in favor of more original posts, and some syndicated posts linking back to original articles. This change makes it easier to search for articles on a particular topic, and gives all of you more content on the site.

Along with this change in the daily real estate digest, came a change in our daily newsletter, which now links directly to article extracts and original articles on the site, rather than just distributing a list of the latest stories.  I hope this change will bring all of you more of the content that you want.

Also, starting a few days ago, I’m now a contributor to Forbes, where I will be writing about China’s listed real estate developers and Chinese companies investing overseas.  Here’s a link to my first contribution, just in case you missed it.

Another change started last week when I changed the name of the weekly job jumper tracking column, “Comings and Goings” to “People in the News.” The plan for the future is to include people-related updates beyond job changes. (And also, this name just sounded a lot better).

Finally, next week I’ll be bringing out and updated design of the Mingtiandi site.  The plan is to make it easier to navigate, have a faster site, and maybe make things a bit prettier too.
