Speaker Bio: Maria Ariizumi of Hilton MTD TV Productions

Maria leads Hilton’s development across Southeast Asia and Australasia.

Prior to joining Hilton, she was the Head of Development & Projects at Swire Hotels where she led the efforts to set up its 3rd party hotel development platform, with her responsibilities spanning hotel development, planning and projects across Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America. During her tenure, Swire Hotels saw a doubling of the group’s hotel portfolio.

Maria’s extensive hospitality career spans across both hotel owners and operators. Her prior experience at Galaxy Entertainment Group, Marriott International and Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting covers hotel development, feasibility, and corporate finance roles. A native of Japan, Maria is a long-time veteran of the Japan market, with long time development experience overseeing Japan, Hong Kong, and South East Asian markets.
