
Takashi Murata, Managing Director, Co-Head of Asia Real Estate and Head of Japan, Warburg Pincus
Takashi Murata joined Warburg Pincus in 2024. He is a Managing Director, Co-Head of Asia Real Estate, Head of Japan, and a member of the firm’s Executive Management Group. Tak currently serves on the Board of Directors of StorHub and the Board of Trustees of Choate Rosemary Hall.
Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Tak was Co-Head of Asia Pacific Private Investing and Global Co-Head of Real Estate at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was also a Partner. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in Tokyo in 1998 as one of the founding members of the Asian Special Situations Group (ASSG). He was responsible for developing the ASSG business in Australia and New Zealand and was appointed Head of ASSG in 2018.
