Yuki Sakamoto, Partner, DT Legal Japan
Yuki joined DT Legal Japan in February 2018. Before joining DT Legal Japan, he worked at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, a major domestic law firm, and then was seconded to the Financial Services Agency of Japan and moved to another big4 law firm.
Yuki offers advice on financial transactions like loans, issuance of securities including J-REIT units, securitization, and deals with financial regulatory laws such as the Banking Law and the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law and listing rules concerning reorganization transactions of listed companies. His expertise covers real estate transactions including real estate investment via GK-TK scheme and outbound real estate investment via foreign limited partnerships, and he handles data privacy and healthcare engagements.
Yuki is an Attorney-at-law admitted in Japan, an ARES Certified Master, a Real Estate Transaction Specialist and Certified Member Analyst of SAAJ.
