Top executives from the world’s largest real estate investors are taking the stage at Mingtiandi’s Hong Kong Focus Forum on Tuesday, starting from 9:00 AM local time, and you can catch the discussions on our MTD TV video platform, or there is still time to purchase tickets if you would like to attend in-person.

The opening sessions of the forum, including the keynote panel with Link REIT CEO George Hongchoy, APG head of Asia real estate Graeme Torre, WeWork Greater China vice president Conan Quan and Francis Li, international director, vice president and head of capital markets for Greater China at Cushman & Wakefield, will be streamed live via MTD TV on Mingtiandi.com.

Also included in the live segment of the program will be a one-on-one interview with Warburg Pincus managing director Ellen Ng, who heads the firm’s Greater China business and will be sharing from her experience leading investments in Weave Living, Princeton Digital Group, DNE Group and other successful platforms.

Leading off the afternoon sessions will be an on-stage interview with PAG chairman Weijian Shan, who will be sharing from his latest book, Money Machine, as well as providing insights on what it’s like to run one of Asia’s largest private equity firms.

With 30 industry experts taking the stage for the full-day event, a session looking at the forces shaping Hong Kong’s commercial hubs will feature Don Taylor of Swire Properties, of DBS Hong Kong, Thomas Lam of New World Development and Chelsea Perino of The Executive Centre.

Also on the agenda is a panel on Hong Kong’s industrial future with Brad Fu of Heitman, Ricky Tse of GLP Capital Partners, Christopher Young of JLL and Collin Lau of BEI Group.

In a session on the resurgence of Japan with international real estate investors, panelists will include Noah Wangh of Invesco Real Estate, Bryan Lee of AB Capital Investment, Ross Antoci of Unified Industrial and Thomas Hirschvogel of Patrizia.

With the mainland market set to benefit from a loosening of credit conditions, a panel on China strategies brings together Chester Foo of Frasers Hospitality, Craig To of Vlinker, Hank Hsu of Forest Logistics Properties and Eric Pang of JLL.

And in the final discussion of the day, we will take a look at value-add and opportunistic strategies in Hong Kong with Pak Man Yuen of Blackstone, Liz Chu of Weave Living, Carol Chow of Lofter Group and Douglas Wu of Fairland Holdings.

Networking Reception

More than 200 real estate have now booked tickets for Mingtiandi’s Hong Kong Focus Forum and there will be a Champagne (with a capital “C”) reception following the event, starting from 5:30, to provide extra opportunities for networking.

The Hong Kong session will be followed in the fourth quarter of this year with Mingtiandi’s return to the Lion City for our Singapore Focus Forum on Tuesday, 21 November.
