This week’s list of familiar faces in new places starts with a former Shanghai-hand making a brand new start of it in New York, and also finds a pair of LSE graduates landing new real estate finance roles in the region. And, of course, WeWork keeps adding to its team in the region. Read on for all the details on who got the job that you always wanted.

In her new role, Gougarty will be based in New York, taking responsibility for leading current practice groups and growing new ones in the company’s Americas platform. The former retail specialist will be reporting to Todd Schwartz, Chief Operations Officer for the Americas with C&W.

Prior to joining the property fund manager subsidiary of Hong Kong Shanghai Alliance Holdings, Li had spent just over one year as an Investment Manager with Ping An Trust, and also has experience with Knight Frank.

Francesco Mussita has joined Intercontinental Hotels Group in Singapore as a member of the hospitality giant’s Global Corporate Finance team. In his new role with the parent company of the Intercontinental, Crown Plaza and Holiday Inn hotel brands, Mussita will be specialising in mergers and acquisitions. The London School of Economics graduate has relocated from the UK to Singapore for the role, having previously served with private equity investment firm Colony Capital in London.

The Knight Frank role is a homecoming for Lee who previously worked with the company as a manager, before joining Colliers in 2014.
