With less than a week to go before Chinese New Year, at least a few of your friends, co-workers and competitors in the region have already settled into new roles ahead of the fire rooster. This week a real estate investment firm appoints a new senior decision maker in Australia, a finance specialist heads for a family office and still more familiar faces are turning up in new places. Read on for all the details.

The new role for Tredwell comes as the real estate investment specialist says it plans to increase its exposure in the Australian real estate market after first opening a Sydney office in May 2016. Tredwell joins the London-based firm from Australia’s Abacus Property Group, where he was Group Executive for Acquisition. The University of Technology Sydney graduate also has previous experience at GE Capital Real Estate and CBRE.
