There is nothing quite as rewarding than being recognized for your hard work and dedication. For the CEO of Singapore’s Housing & Development Board, Dr. Cheong Koon Hean, that dream became a reality after she was bestowed with a prestigious international honor. Of course, you have to start somewhere and there are a number of real estate professionals beginning new jobs in hope they too will be honored one day. Among the notable changes, CBRE named a new Head of Research for Northern China, a Hong Kong-listed developer hired a new Assistant Director and JLL continued to bolster its Hong Kong office. Keep reading to find out more.

The Peking University graduate will continue to operate out of CBRE’s Beijing office. Tin joined CBRE from rival JLL in 2014 where he had a two-year stint as Senior Research Manager. He also spent time with The Nielsen Company where he picked up the Best Performance Employee Award in 2010.

victorVictor Yin Wei has taken over as Assistant Director – M&E in the Property Development division of Imperial Pacific Holdings. He joins the Hong Kong-listed developer after a three-year journey at Shui On Development where he held the role of Senior Manager – Development Planning and Design. Imperial Pacific is currently building a massive casino and resort on the island of Saipan where it has pledged to invest a minimum of US$ 7.1 billion on hospitality projects.

paul-dwyerPaul Dwyer has found his way to JLL’s Hong Kong Office and will assume the role of Director, Regional Lead Data Centre Services for Asia Pacific. He joins the firm from DTZ/Cushman & Wakefield where he served as Associate Director, Data Centre Advisory Group for Asia Pacific. Dwyer has also spent time at Colliers International in Hong Kong. In his new position, the Hong Kong Cricket Club supporter will be leading data centre activities for JLL in the Asia Pacific region while covering all service lines.
