Colliers Adds Colin Clark to Build SG Project Management Team

2016/06/14 by Michael Cole Leave a Comment

Colin Clark

Colin Clark started his new role at Colliers this month

Colliers International continued to add to its management team in the region this month by bringing engineering veteran Colin Clark on board as head of project management for its Singapore office.

The addition of Clark, who had spent the past 13 years leading project management teams in China, comes after a string of recent senior level additions at the property consultancy, including luring investment specialist Tang Wei Leng back to the company last last October to head up its Singapore operation.

Clark, who has more than 27 years of experience in the construction industry, previously served as construction director for logistics developer The Redwood Group in China, a role he held from the end of 2013 up until Redwood merged with local warehouse developer eShang in January this year.

The UK native also had experience in China running CBRE’s project management operation in China for nearly four years, growing a startup operation into a 70-member team.

Colliers has picked up a number of former leaders from its green competitor in the last year, including recruiting Nigel Smith to head its Hong Kong office, and hiring CBRE’s former retail boss for Asia, Sebastian Skiff as its head of retail development and asset management for the region as of January this year.

Colliers is relying on Clark, who relocated to Singapore to take on the new role, to help build up its project management and facilities management teams in the city as competition among the leading agencies continues to grow.
