Our first full week of activity in 2015 sees a US property developer promoting some local talent, a change of roles for an exec with one of China’s biggest financial management firms, and a flurry of moves at one of the biggest real estate agencies. Read on for more details.

Bote Wu TishmanBote (Albert) Wu has moved up to become Director for Acquisitions with Tishman Speyer in Shanghai. Wu first joined the US property developer as an Associate with the company’s MBA Leadership Program in 2013, after completing his business school program at the University of California at Berkeley. Wu, who received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wuhan also has prior professional experience with Fosun and Mapletree.

Josephine Xu has taken on the role of Investment Manager with Ping An Trust in Shanghai. The MBA-holder from Hong Kong’s Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business assumed her new duties with the unit of the state-owned insurance giant after having already having spent more than a year and a half with the firm as an Asset Manager. Prior to joining Ping An Xu served as Senior Manager of Asset Management with Forte Capital.

Wang will continue to be based in Shanghai.

Phillipa HaganPhillipa Hagen has joined Colliers International in Shanghai as a Senior Manager with the real estate consultancy. Hagen takes on her new responsibilities with Colliers after recently having relocated to Shanghai from Singapore, where she had previously been employed with Digital Realty as a Business Analyst.
