2024/10/01 by Mingtiandi Team Leave a Comment

Yukihiko Ito, GOYOH

Yukihiko Ito, Founder and CEO, GOYOH

Yukihiko Ito is the Founder & CEO of GOYOH, and a Tokyo-based entrepreneur and real estate strategist specializing in cross-border capital, experiential value creation, and sustainability-driven innovation.

He began his career in 2006 by launching a real estate investment and management firm in New York at the age of 23. In 2008, he founded Asterisk, Inc. in Japan, offering strategic solutions for maximizing the “soft value” of real estate to global institutional investors, investment funds, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. His experience includes mandates with M&G Real Estate, BentallGreenOak, and Hoshino Resorts.

In 2018, he established GOYOH K.K., introducing the EaSyGo platform to elevate real asset value and generate measurable social impact through ESG integration. Under his leadership, GOYOH has spearheaded several industry-first initiatives, including:

  • Japan’s first Social Impact Linked Real Estate Finance in partnership with MUFG Bank
  • A nationwide energy benchmarking system for multifamily residential properties
  • An interactive sustainability engagement platform implemented across diverse real estate asset classes.

He also introduced the CRREM (Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor) framework to Japan and founded the CRREM Japan Forum in 2023 and 2024, fostering alignment between regulatory trends and real estate decarbonization strategies.

Yukihiko is widely acknowledged for his leadership in cross-border capital markets, proptech for institutional investors, and real estate technology innovation, with a consistent commitment to embedding sustainability and ESG values across real assets and at the city and community levels.

He is currently leading the global expansion of EaSyGo Value Driver, a next-generation ESG-SaaS platform that empowers urban assets to meet evolving global investor mandates, align with city-level sustainability policies, and enhance the well-being of tenants and local communities—creating social impact as alpha for real estate investment.

GOYOH is a Tokyo-based proptech startup redefining the next-generation value of real estate by focusing on its “soft value” – the lifestyle, ESG, and community dimensions that go beyond physical infrastructure.

Combining deep real estate expertise with advanced technology, GOYOH provides comprehensive ESG solutions tailored for asset managers, developers, and institutional investors. Its flagship platform, EaSyGo Value Driver, enables real estate stakeholders to integrate sustainability performance and tenant engagement into a unified digital system – generating both social and financial impact.

GOYOH’s mission is to transform real estate into a platform that delivers sustainability outcomes alongside strategic investment returns.
