Sam is the Founder and Managing Director of Kio Investment Management, an alternative investment manager and are experts across the Australian living sectors.
With Kio, Sam has raised capital, launched and successfully invested in both Build-to-Rent and Studio-Living strategies in Australia, creating a combined portfolio of assets totalling an end value of approximately A$1.3 billion.
Prior to founding Kio, Sam held senior roles across the region’s most prominent living and BTR sector specialists, leading their vision, direction and growing specialist teams in design, development, investment management and operations. Recent roles included, the Head of Living at Hines, where he established and build Hines living team, expertise and presence.
