Masako Arakawa, President, AMC Advisors Co., Ltd.
Masako Arakawa is the Founder and President of AMC Advisors Co., Ltd., established in 2012 to provide cross-border real estate valuation and advisory services. She previously served as Executive Director at CBRE K.K., leading client development and cross-border business initiatives, and as Head of Underwriting at Deutsche Bank Group’s Commercial Real Estate Japan, for real estate financing and securitization. Her earlier experience includes roles at Credit Suisse First Boston Principal Investments, HIRO & Associates, and Long Term Credit Bank Research & Consulting.
Masako has served as an Outside Director for listed and pre-IPO companies, including Gfoot Co., Ltd., Ricoh Leasing Company, Ltd., Orion Breweries, Ltd., and currently Nihon Housing Co., Ltd. She is also a Board Director of the Institute of Corporate Governance, Japan (ICGJ). She holds an MS in Real Estate from New York University and professional credentials including MAI (USA), MRICS (UK), and Licensed Real Estate Appraiser in Japan.
