Leo Kwon, Head of Global Platform Investment, IGIS AM

Leo serves as the head of the Global Platform Investment Team 1 at IGIS Asset Management (“IGIS”), assisting global institutional investors in successfully fulfilling their various capital allocation requirements. He actively contributes to the management of IGIS’s existing investment platforms, including the Korea Data Center Investment Platform and Korea Logistics Investment Platform, and pioneering through the Korea Life Science Investment Platform. Prior to joining IGIS Asset Management, Leo spent nine years within the real estate private equity industry across various firms after graduating from Emory University with a BS in Economics.

IGIS Asset Management is an independent global investment manager, specialized in alternative investments with a focus on real asset. IGIS has been leveraging its extensive network to engage in domestic and overseas alternative investment opportunities through equity·credit·fund of funds investment strategies since it established in 2010, leading the firm to become the largest Korean real estate asset manager within the five years of its establishment. The firm now has approximately $47.9 billion asset under management as of December 31st, 2022. According to 2022 IREI Report, IGIS is ranked as the 2nd largest investment manager in terms of Asian AUM for 2 years in a row.

IGIS has been developing extensive investor networks globally with more than 200 reputable domestic and foreign institutional investors (pension funds, MMA, insurance firms, global investment managers, etc). The firm possess differentiated proposition among local asset managers in Korea with extensive track records and experiences in diversified investment strategies through 340+ capable investment and asset management professionals.
