Laurent Fischler
Laurent is a seasoned real estate professional with over 25 years of experience in development and investment across Asia Pacific and beyond.
Most recently, Laurent was Head of Investments for Asia Pacific at Ivanhoe Cambridge (CDPQ). He joined the team in 2018 and was responsible for the development, delivery and implementation of the group’s strategies and objectives in the region. Prior to joining Ivanhoe, Laurent was General Manager of Acquisitions and Deputy GM of the International Real Estate Center at Dalian Wanda Group in Beijing, where he was responsible for setting up the team and overseeing international real estate activities for the company. Previously, he worked at CBRE in Beijing, where he held various positions before heading up Investment Properties for North China.
Laurent grew up in France and studied in the US and UK, starting his career in London before moving to Beijing in 2005.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Master’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is fluent in English, French and Mandarin.
