
Kentaro Sato, Country Director, Japan, Cove
Kentaro Sato is the country director of Cove Japan. He previously served as a principal in asset management at Alyssa Partners, where he managed a number of portfolios ranging from multifamily, hotel and office assets. Prior to that, he was with Capital Marketa at JLL Japan and started up international residential sales business for Japanese condominiums at JLL Singapore. After 6 years in Singapore, he returned to Tokyo to become the department head of International Residential at JLL Japan.
With over 24 years of experience in Japan’s real estate industry, mainly in residential asset class, His latest responsibility at Cove Japan is to expand its business in Tokyo and to bring flexible living experiences into Tokyo, but also to provide a revenue growth option to a multifamily sector.
Cove Living is a co-living company that provides fully furnished, flexible rental apartments in cities across Asia, such as Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. It offers a “co-living” model that combines private living spaces with shared communal areas like kitchens and lounges, with services like housekeeping and fast Wi-Fi included. The company aims to simplify the renting process for young professionals and students by providing move-in ready rooms and a tech-powered digital platform for booking and management.
