Jason Lee, Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, CIO & Head of Private Equity, Asia Pacific, AEW
Mr. Lee is the Senior Portfolio Manager for AEW’s Asia Pacific Value-Add Strategies, Chief Investment Officer and Head of Private Equity for AEW Asia Pacific. He is also a member of the AEW Asia Pacific Investment and Risk Management Committees. Mr. Lee is responsible for implementing the investment strategy including, sourcing, structuring and underwriting of new investment opportunities. Mr. Lee has 26 years of real estate investment experience. Prior roles include being a Director of Merrill Lynch’s Asia Opportunistic Real Estate Fund and the Global Principal Investments Group. Mr. Lee is a graduate of Cornell University (B.S.), holds an M.S. from MIT and is fluent in Mandarin and English. Mr. Lee sits on the advisory board of Cornell University’s Center for Real Estate and Finance (CREF).
