Augustine Chin, Managing Director, Asia Green Real Estate

Augustine Chin is a Managing Director at Asia Green Real Estate. He joined the firm in 2015 and is based in Shanghai. Augustine played a key role in establishing the evergreen core-plus fund, which focuses in office and residential investments in Asia, and is responsible for the entire investment life cycle of the core-plus fund’s portfolio in China and Singapore, from strategy to deal origination to operations to exits.

Augustine has been working in the Asian real estate investment industry for 18 years, mainly in private equity and corporate finance. During this time, he has worked on and executed numerous transactions with a combined value in excess of USD 2 billion. Examples of such transactions include direct and indirect investments, fund raising, debt financing, IPO, and M&A. Prior to this, he was manager at A.T. Kearney in Boston, a leading global management consulting firm, where he was awarded the firm-wide global “Thought Leadership” award. Augustine is fluent in Mandarin and English, and holds an MBA from Cornell University.
