Sheep Year on the Beach — Mingtiandi to Go on Holiday

China’s spring festival holiday is late this year – officially starting on the evening of the 18th – but we will be a bit early here at Mingtiandi, with the 13th being our last day of regular service for this lunar year.

We will still be making sporadic updates should any big events occur, and our regular daily updates will be back online on Monday, March 2nd. In the meantime, Mingtiandi will officially be on the beach. Or at least in someplace much warmer than Shanghai.

During the break I’ll be working on a few more improvements to the site, including some features to name top commercial brokerages in Shanghai each month, and live-updated rankings of China outbound investment by country, real estate type and brokerage.

It’s been a great year at Mingtiandi with readership growing by nearly ten times compared to the end of 2013, and I’m happy to see that so many of you find the site useful.

I hope you’ll enjoy our new site elements even more than the news that we’ve brought you so far, and I wish all of you a happy year of the sheep.
