Intercontinental moves dominate this week’s roundup of people news, with a real estate investment specialist leaping from London to Hong Kong to take on a new challenge, and a Vietnam-based agency veteran decamping for the UK. A Chinese co-working provider and a Singaporean investment firm are also welcoming new talent, while mainland conglomerate Fosun has parted ways with an outbound investment expert. Read on to see who’s updating their name cards.

Sarah Winbur (née Burridge) has moved to Hong Kong to take the role of Senior Manager of Investment at UK-based real estate specialist Savills Investment Management. Winbur relocates from London, where she worked across the firm’s European Retail Funds and Strategic Partnerships as an Assistant Portfolio Manager. She is now responsible for the company’s separately managed accounts involving both inbound and outbound capital, covering transactions, investment underwriting and asset management. Winbur joined property consultancy Savills in London in 2012 and stepped on board the firm’s investment affiliate in 2016 before her move to Asia.

Zheng headed to southern China after achieving a master’s degree in Real Estate Development at Columbia University in New York. She was previously with Yuanbo Property Management as a general manager’s assistant in Xining, the capital of western China’s Qinghai province, after working as a marketing director at Antai Real Estate Development.

Fitzpatrick previously worked for property brokerage CBRE in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, holding the title of Director for Investment Properties in the Advisory & Transaction department. The chartered valuation surveyor has over a decade of real estate experience, including at Colliers International in Vietnam, Cavendish Maxwell in Dubai, and Colliers and CBRE in London.

cherry yinCherry Yin has joined co-working provider Kr Space this month, where she handles custom project management for large clients, based in Beijing. Before taking the new role at the spinoff of Alibaba-backed technology platform 36Kr, Yin worked as a senior associate director on the office landlord representation team at Colliers International. She has also worked for developer Yanlord Land in Tianjin as Head of Office Leasing, following roles at rival agencies JLL and CB Richard Ellis (now CBRE) in the northeastern Chinese city.

Jerry Shi is now Managing Director of WiseStone Capital, a firm he recently co-founded in Canada, after stepping down as Senior Director at Shanghai-based investment conglomerate Fosun International, where he specialised in outbound real estate investment management. Shi previously worked for The Carlyle Group as an asset manager, after serving as an associate at private equity firm Prax Capital in Shanghai. He holds an MBA from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Tim Rodrigo joins property consultancy JLL in Singapore as Regional Talent Acquisition Lead for Corporate Solutions this month. Rodrigo is relocating from Hong Kong where he worked for recruiting firm Spring Professional as Regional Practice Leader (Asia Ex-Japan) for Property & Construction. He has extensive experience in the recruiting industry, including stints at Aquis Search and Advantage Resourcing UK in Hong Kong and London, respectively.

Ying-Khuan Pow has joined Rockworth Capital Partners as Associate, Business Development this month.
