Comings and Goings: Who’s Changing Jobs in China Commercial Real Estate 2013-10-14

2013/10/14 by Michael Cole Leave a Comment

Each week on Mingtiandi we track who among China’s commercial real estate community has left their former role, been promoted or finally discovered how tough it is to make a living as an ultra-marathon promoter.

Richard David has left his role as Chief Executive Officer with Forterra Trust, and reported in an email that this move was made on his own terms.

Paul Ark has apparently been dismissed from his role as a globe-trotting photojournalist and ultra-marathon promoter, and has joined the Retail Real Estate team at Microsoft China, based in Shanghai.

John Ho has left his role as Director, Head of Logistics Infrastructure at Jones Lang LaSalle in Shanghai, and is now Managing Director for Chinese developer, Landsea Group in the US.

Sonya Yang has been promoted from Senior Negotiator to Manager with the Tenant Representative department of CBRE in Chengdu.

Jessie Lu is now Portfolio Manager-Greater China at GE. Her former role was Associate Director at Colliers International in Shanghai.

Queeny So has been promoted from Associate Director to Director in the Investment and Advisory Services department at DTZ in Hong Kong.

Luis Keats has been promoted from Senior Associate Director to Director at DTZ in Shanghai.

Susan Jiang has left her role as Assistant Project Manager at Changzhou National Hi-tech District Investment Promotion Bureau to take on the position of Vice Director at Foreign Investment Promotion Bureau of Jintan Economic Development Zone.

Lawrence Chan is now an Associate at BlackRock in Hong Kong.

If you know of other job changes among China’s commercial real estate professionals, please feel free to contact me at Mingtiandi.
